Happy Holidays

Wow! I can't believe how fast summer and Autumn flew! Here we are upon the holiday season again! I am hoping this is the year that Mark finally enjoys the holiday season. We are blessed to have Jaxon with us this week and last night he helped us put up our tree, in order to get the boys involved, we decorated in the colors they chose so our tree is looking a bit patriotic, Jaxon chose red and Mark chose blue, but it is rather pretty! Since Mark does not read our blog I am so excited about Christmas this year. I found out that when he was a little boy he wanted a Teddy Ruxpin for Christmas...well he never got one, soooo I am getting him one! I know a bit childish but sometimes I think we all need to feel like a kid again! Happy Holidays to everyone!!

Makes us grateful!

In reading Kylene's post on her blog, it also made me stop and think about how blessed I am that the savior has blessed me with so many special friends and family members and how blessed I am that we have the health that we do. I am so grateful that we have opportunities to help others and grow ourselves, it makes me look at my life and realize that things could always be so much worse. so I am hoping that this will help Taylie, how small of an act to help such a big problem. Mark and my prayers are with her and her family. http://www.tayliebug.com/Index.html

Jackson Hole

Last week Mark and I decided to head off to Yellowstone! Mark had never been and so I decided it was about time to see it. We had a very quick but great time, it was a lot of driving in one day but so worth it. I was sad he didn't see anything but a buffalo, but he was so excited to see it that he was down on the ground no more than 10 feet away from him, I was freaking out!! I told him you never know what they are going to do and they can run 35 MPH, he laughed and said, "oh he wouldn't come after me, we connected!"

We are so excited to have Jaxon visiting us for a few weeks again. Yesterday we took him to play at the base of Bridal Veil Falls, it was a blast! We love spending time with him and look forward to his visits! This summer he has spent half his summer here!

SUMMER FUN!

Well, summer is here, unfortunatly mother nature has not picked up on that and it has rained so much here! Swimming at the Lehi swimming pool has been a great past time for us. We are so blessed to have Jaxon visiting us for two weeks! He is such a good kid and his sense of humor keeps Mark and I laughing all the time!

Las Vegas and updates!

Well we have been home for a couple of weeks from Vegas and we have been super busy, but we won lots of money, only to come home to car problems and spend it all fixing the car! I figure at least we had money to fix it! Of course it was something that the warranty did not cover!

With all the fertility problems we have had, Mark and I have decided that with all the children out there needing homes, we are going to be foster parents!!! I was adopted and know what it feels like to go from home to home and so we have decided that this is a road that we feel will be a good one to travel for us.

Well, okay so Mandi fell a bit behind on the blogging, but she will catch up! Since the last post we saved two pure black kittens from being sacrificed on Halloween and named them Twilight and Pearl! We live in a condo in American Fork and love our neighborhood. Mandi works for Spark Networks helping people find true love online and Mark is still working for his dad as a PI.
